What a beautiful day for the PGA Tour Charity Shoot out on the new #12 hole on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Jason Day, last year’s Players Champion, hit drives to the 12th for each charity. Then each charity player vied for closest to the pin and the coveted $10,000.
True Blue was blessed to have Laugh Baugh, former LPGA player, golf broadcaster and writer as our player. She is one gracious and classy woman!
Laura did not have an easy shot. The 12th green is BIG and undulating with the pin today toward the front half of the green. You can see Laura and Jason Day watching her ball head straight for the pin in the picture above. Laura did great!, coming in 3rd place.
Every charity was a winner, though. Jason Day announced he was donating $5,000 to each charity. So thankful for his generosity and the opportunity given to True Blue to compete in this PGA Tour event.
