
ANA LEAIRD
Prior to joining the PGA TOUR in 1995, Ana worked in various aspects of women’s professional tennis for nearly 18 years. She served as a communications and media consultant to Philip Morris (Virginia Slims brand), Colgate-Palmolive, Toyota, Kraft Foods and Avon for sponsorship activities related to Women’s Tennis Association players and tournaments and was also the Director of Communications for the WTA Tour for eight years.
In her most recent position with the TOUR, Ana serves as Senior Vice President, Communications and oversees many of the day-to-day functions of the communications department. She also provides media training to incoming PGA TOUR members and works closely with many of the leading agents to develop and execute non-traditional media strategies and opportunities. Ana has also held positions as Director of Public Relations for the TOUR’s Championship Management Division and as Vice President Communications, oversaw the PGA TOUR’s media operations at more than 40 tournaments.
Ana is a 1976 graduate of the University of Florida.
